What helps us quote fast
Four things, and none of them are hard.
Where the site is
An address, a cross street, or a dropped pin. If it has no address, coordinates or a description of the nearest intersection is plenty.
Roughly how big
Acres if you know them, or something to scale off — "about four football fields", "a standard commercial pad". A guess is fine.
What you need out of it
A map you can measure? Earthwork volumes? A monthly progress set? A roof documented for insurance? Video for a listing? If you are not sure, describe the problem and we will work it out.
When you need it
A date, or "no rush". Weather drives the schedule more than anything else, so the more room you give us, the better the data.
How pricing works
No hourly meter.
One-off flights
A flat price for the flight and the agreed deliverables. Driven by acreage, what you need processed, and how far the drive is.
Progress programs
A per-visit rate agreed up front for the length of the project. Repeat sites are cheaper per flight because the mission is already planned.
Progress reportingVideo and photo
Priced on shoot length and how much editing the finished piece needs. Rush turnaround is usually possible.

Two things worth knowing.
One honest note about the word “surveying.” SkyMap captures and processes aerial survey data — orthomosaics, point clouds, surfaces and volumes. We are not a licensed land surveying firm, and we do not set boundaries or seal plats. Where a job needs a legal boundary or a sealed document, we work alongside your licensed surveyor and hand them data they can work from. Plenty of our clients use us for exactly that.
Weather runs the schedule. Wind, rain and low cloud all affect whether a flight produces data worth paying for. We will tell you as early as we know if a date has to move, and we would rather move it than hand you a soft result.
